HISTORY

The Mahdavieh brothers began their cooperation in dried fruits in 1949 . 

The first processing plant opened in Maragheh in East Azarbaijan province of Iran . After a few years , two more plants were established in Uromiyeh in west Azerbaijan province as well as our head office in Tehran due to immediate business expansion . 

We currently export to more than 30 countries worldwide . To this day , Mahdavieh Export Co.(MEC) , has kept its reputation by direct access in purchasing the raw materials , full quality control in production lines and absolute commitments to customer service . 

Despite all the changes in the world’s markets , industrial , economical , environmental and political , we have managed to maintain our company’s stability and continuous success in the market .  

Our company has achieved the high European food standard requirements and complied with other countries’ food and hygiene regulations . We have established ourselves by providing top quality products , competitive pricing structure and excellent customer care .  

Alongside our potential markets in the EU , our export stretches as far as North America , Australia and New Zealand . 

Our Owned Turkish Company

We also established an owned Turkish company in 2011 in Izmir/Turkey (Golden Grape İç Ve Dış Ticaret Ltd.) , to transit our shipments faster and in better conditions by Turkish ports to worldwide , on the other hand supporting our banking affairs .
